Milliardo knelt before Treize calmly, his eyes vacant and unmoving. Treize walked toward the platinum haired mage and spoke.
"You have finally completed your training, young Milliardo, and now I shall give you a gift." From elegantly manicured claws, a white stone set into a delicate gold circlet dangled. The refined demon fixed the jewel to Milliardo's brow. "From this day forth, you shall be known as Zechs Marquise while you are in mine or Mistress Une's presence. Rise Zechs Marquise and take your place among us," Treize said stepping back to stand by Mistress Une.
Zechs stood and his eyes focused on the regal

Chapter Two
With dawn less than an hour away, a town, somewhere on the borderlands of the Sanq Kingdom awoke to the roar of huge beasts that descended on them like a plague of locusts destroying everything that lay in their path. Villagers run in a blind panic trying to escape the creatures' horrible and unprovoked wrath.
Livestock carnage litters the village. Women and children are laid to waste with just the swing of an arm. The creatures continue their attack even as the young men of the village fight back, but they are no match for the monstrous creatures.
A lone Demon Doll rises up on the horizon and joins the others i

"Your Highness," an attendant announced, the Mages you summoned have arrived."
"Show them in," she commanded.
Returning to the waiting room, the attendant proclaimed to the two mages, "The Empress will see you now."
"Thank you," Quatre said in return. "Ready?" He asked Trowa, who looked quite nervous over the whole affair.
"I think so," Trowa replied.
"It will be fine," reassured Quatre. "Just follow my lead."
The two Mages followed the attendant into a large throne room. At the far end of the room sat Empress Relena Peacecraft and her aid, Lady Une, and one other, a young man with liquid black hair

The sun had only been up for an hour before word reached the Palace of Sanq that another village had been attack. So the Mages were sent out immediately to investigate, traveling for what felt like hours. As the four rode into the destroyed farming village, the sun had barely begun to reach its peak. But even that gave them enough light to see the carnage that had happened as they rested the night before. All that was witnessed by the Mages was nothing more then burnt out structures and burning fields. The bodies of villages and livestock that had resided there were scattered like forgotten playthings.

As instructed Quatre, Trowa, and Wufei positioned themselves at three points around the Altar. Duo stood next to the Altar itself. He looked it over and found it covered in layers of dust. In the center of the Altar was a burial urn decorated with archaic runes and markings. This was the urn that held the remains of Heero Yuy, who some 150 years earlier defeated an invading army by himself. Thus saving the Kingdoms and causing them to form an Alliance and the peaceful ways they held dear to them today. The Mages looked down and felt some regret in having to do this but

Staring down the old priest, Heero awaited for the answers as to why his element had changed. All he got from his mentor was a cold and rather heartless laugh as he reached past the outstretched hand of his former student. J covered Heero's face with his aged hand and chanted something rather softly. It had felt to Heero as if the entire room was spinning out of control before all went black. Sleep had over taken the young man but it was not to be the most peaceful of slumbers.

Heero had spent many an hour sitting in the window that was best for overlooking the Palace Grounds and had been doing so routinely since the events between the other two Mages in weeks prior. He had been so lost in thought that he was unaware of being watched by the other Mages, though if he had noticed the group watching him, most likely it would not have fazed him in the slightest.
Hes awfully quiet. Hes barely spoken a word today, Trowa whispered to the others showing no real signs of concern in his voice, Do you think hell agree to it?

After a general round of introductions had been made, the young elfin lad was able to meet with the Empress. They decided it best that they should move into a more disclosed location within the Palace. Moments later, Thea sat the Mages down within the map room and carefully explained to them in a riddle the locations of their God Protectors. The only clues that he was able to really give to the Mages' task where 'accepting', 'fighting', 'welcoming', and disdaining'. The Mages, to say the least, were confused by this but nodded in silent understanding as to what they must do. All except Heero who merely clo

Once Trowa recovered from his ordeal it only took the traveling party a few days to reach the edge of a majestic emerald forest. By cutting back on the amount of sleep, despite the Fire Mage's constant grumbling, they had arrived by early daybreak. According to Thea, this was where Wufei was to find the God Protector Shenlong. Jumping from his horse's back, Wufei prepared to enter the lush forest. He could feel the faint presence of the God Protector, deep within it and that knowledge sent a slight shiver over his skin. Thea, having long since disappeared, left this par

A joyous celebration descended upon the people within the Palace in Sanq. The Kingdoms Protectors, men told only of as legend in their Kingdoms past, were now re-united once again to protect the lands from eternal darkness. Many praised the young men of the present and the Empress for her swift action in searching for them. It was a time for smiles, for at least this day.
Once they were dismissed, the collective of five Mages quietly retired outside. Heero calmly instructed them to call forth their Gundams. Touching the gems they wore as Heero had explained before, the Mages went through miraculous tr
